Before I knew I wanted to do this comic, I drew a bunch of characters saying stuff along the lines of "Take me with you" on the paper in question. All of those characters ended up coming on the trip.

Aaaaannd none of my characters (except Weeko) know that I (Sarita) is the person who decides their fate. They just think I'm some annoying wolfthing that randomly appears and does stuff. I don't want them finding out who I really am. .____.
